3. System configuration of Local Pay attention!
The default login screen is running a loop message. If you need to login the E-Detective, please press alt+F2 to change other screen. ![]() E-Detective System default IP is 192.168.1.60 and default gateway is 192.168.1.1. If that need to be changed, we provide you two ways to configure default setting. Note: Local configuration means you should directly connect monitor and keyboard to the machine. Input user ID and password “dec / jmyohxbc” to login. Type instruction “SetIP”. Then, it will display as following. If you use “Bridge Mode”, please type “y” or ignore this section to next one beginning with ●. ![]() Assign number to first NIC of brige - eth0 for example. ![]() Assign number to second NIC of bridge – eth1 for example. ![]() Input “br0” ![]() Input IP of br0 ![]() Please answer the followings in order. System will display network information - IP address, netmask and broadcast. Please confirm carefully. If the settings are correct, please input “y” to continue. ![]() Please input “n” to reject. ![]() Please input gateway ![]() If the settings are correct, please input “y” to continue. ![]() Select a NIC to get data - br0 for example. ![]() Setting NFS’s device ![]() Finished. System will display network information - IP address, netmask and broadcast. Please confirm carefully.
