4. System Installation of Local
Please install E-Detective system in the followings:
1.

Power On |
2.
|
Put installation CD in
CD-ROM |
3.
|
Change BIOS setting. Set
1st Boot Device to be “CD-ROM from”. |

Reboot |
5.
|
System will install
E-Detective automatically |
6.
|
When you see the following
message, system will be pause:
Accept or Don’t? Please answer (Yes/No)：yes
Now starting to install E-Detective System [ Normal ] ……
***** HardDisk Configuration *****
Please answer
(Yes/No)：Please input “YES” to continue, or input “NO” to terminate. |

Finished. You can see the
default setting as followings.
Local login：
Username ： dec
Passwd ： jmyohxbc
Remote login：
Username ： root
Passwd ： 000000
Default IP ： 192.168.1.60
Default GW ： 192.168.1.1
Please press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to restart the system.
If you need reset E-Detective server's IP,
please execute " SetIP " after local login.
DISK [ 0 ]：had
CD-ROM：[ 3 ] hdd [ 1 ]
WARNING：could not determine runlevel - doing soft reboot
(it's better to use shutdown instead of reboot
from the command line)
shutdown：No such file or directory
/bin/eject：unable to find or open device for： "cdrom"
BusyBox v.0.60.3 (2002.06.20-18：01+0000) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter " help " for a list of built-in commands.
sh：can't access tty； job control turned off.

Note: Please reboot. In
order to avoid re-installing, please remember
to take out the installation CD or change BIOS setting to make sure
system will reboot from HDD.
